How to choose a Dayhome:
When you call Child Development Dayhomes looking for a Dayhome, we will refer you to several Dayhomes in your area that are able to care for your child. Child Development Dayhomes requires both the parent and child to meet the Dayhome Provider and see the Dayhome.
When interviewing Dayhome Providers try to find someone with similar parenting styles, and the Dayhome that you and your child are most comfortable in. If you aren't sure, keep looking.
Look for a bright welcoming home environment, a child friendly atmosphere with children’s artwork displayed, and a positive interaction between the Provider and your child.
Talk to the Provider about what kind of activities, snacks and lunches will be provided. Ask about daily outdoor activities, where children will spend most of their day, and fieldtrips.
