Our staff are highly-qualified in Early Child Development, and have extensive experience in childcare. We have the professional skills and knowledge to support parents with their childcare needs and assist dayhome educators.

Our dedication to promoting excellence in childcare is reflected by our long term commitment to Child Development Dayhomes. We always stay up to date on the latest research on child development and many of our staff hold Masters and Bachelors.


Nicki Dublenko
Executive Director

Joined Child Development Dayhomes in 2004.

Education: M.Ed Specializing in Early Learning and Child Care; BSc, Recreation and Leisure program, Early Childhood Education program. PhD candidate at OISE, University of Toronto.

Work experience: Chair of Alberta Child Care Association, Environmental Educator, Biologist and Botanist.

Favorite part of the job: Supporting families, educators and staff; and establishing partnerships in the community.

Special interests: Spending time with family, travelling, skiing, yoga, soccer, reading.


Sonia Grams
Coordinator

Joined Child Development Dayhomes in 1995.

Education: B.Sc in Family Studies

Work experience: Childcare Worker in Daycare, Child and Youth Worker, Childcare Consultant, Coordinator/Accounts/Payroll.

Favorite part of the job: There is no such thing as a typical day

Special interests: Reading, the Atypical child, my family


Tammy Warawa
Accounts Manager

Joined Child Development Dayhomes in 2006.

Education: Business Administration & Finance; Child Development Assistant (Level 1 in Early Learning and Child Care)

Work experience: Loans officer, Branch Administrator

Favorite part of the job: Working with people

Special interests: Running, Pilates, watching my boys play hockey


Jennie L.
Childcare Consultant

Joined Child Development Dayhomes in 2006.

Education: Early Childhood Educator

Work experience: I have been working in Childcare since 1998. I worked with school age children for 3 years. I then moved on to work with Headstart Childcare, a research project.

Favorite part of the job: I would have to say that I have two favorite parts to the job. I really enjoy visiting each dayhome and interacting with the children. I also enjoy meeting the families that will be using a dayhome with our agency.

Lindsay Kolada
Pedagogical Mentor

Joined Child Development Dayhomes in 2010.

Education: Early Childhood Educator

Work experience: Daycares, After school programs & Preschool Programs, as well as assisting children with different abilities inside the home.

Favorite part of the job: Being in a supportive role to child care providers, assisting with programming in the dayhomes, and of course, playing with the children!

Special interests: Music (Guitar, Piano), pets and animals.


Candi Kobialko
Approvals and Childcare Consultant

Joined Child Development Dayhomes in 2011.

Education: Early Childhood Educator

Work experience: I have been working in the childcare field for over 12 years. I worked and managed a large daycare and afterschool care for 10 years.

Favorite part of the job: Building relationships with the providers, families and children in care. Working with supportive co-workers.

Special interests: I love traveling and learning about other countries and their way of life.

Marketing Coordinator

Joined Child Development Dayhomes in 2011.

Education: B.Mgt (major in Marketing), Certified Social Media Strategist, Child Development Assistant (Level 1 in Early Learning and Child Care)

Work experience: Marketing and Promotions Specialist, sales, marketing & admin support and customer service.

Favorite part of the job: Website design & administration, online marketing and analytics

Special interests: Golf, reading, cooking, camping, astronomy and spending time with my family.


Jennifer Bedford
Childcare Consultant

Joined Child Development Dayhomes in 2013.

Education: Early Learning and Child Care Diploma. Travel and Tourism Diploma.

Work experience: Dayhome Educator for a year, Child Care Supervisor at a recreation centre for 2 years. Before I began my journey in childcare, I was a travel agent.

Favorite part of the job: Working with so many different people and getting to know each family, child and educator. I love that every day is different.

Special interests: Reading, baking, shopping and traveling.


Amy Nuñez
Childcare Consultant

Joined Child Development Dayhomes in 2013.

Education: Bachelor of Education - Elementary

Work experience: Dayhome provider for a year and a half, elementary teacher for 4 years (Kindergarten for 3 years, Grade 2 for 1 year)

Favorite part of the job: Interactions with different people (children, providers, parents and co-workers)

Special interests: Spending time with family, taking my dog for walks and crafty projects (when I have time)


Lilia Rogatko

Education: Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education

Work experience: 28 years in a variety of educational settings

Favorite part of the job: Discovering children's individuality and working alongside providers to maximize it

Special interests: Reading, traveling, meeting new people and learning about their language and culture
