Outdoor Play in Spring
By Terri-Ann, Dayhome Program Educator
Going outside is essential and meaningful to the well-being of kids. It is a great way for them to be their true self and in these pictures we can see them being playful and seeking out connections. Many of us think that it is necessary to have a lot of toys for kids to play with, however kids find and create fun with whatever they have and loose parts are a great way for them to have simple materials and use them however they can. At first the boards were a bridge, but then it was a walkway and for Cooper it became a balance beam. You can see that they are seeking, caring, and being playful together.
